Tourist association Nazarje

The Tourist association Nazarje with a slogan "Tourism is people" connects the amateurs of arranged environment and tourist activities from entire municipality. They usually begin the year with organizing a carnival for children and with participation at the Mozirje Carnival. In the spring they are active in cooperation with local communities in organizing cleaning activities.

The traditional ethno and folklore event in June "Iz roda v rod" (From one generation to another), where gather musicians and accordion players from the broad area, is organized by the Tourist association Nazarje in cooperation with the Public funds for cultural activities of Mozirje region. At the end of holidays they prepare a social meeting of children and youth of the Upper Savinja valley. At the end of the year they arrange the festive decoration of villages and a feast of St. Nicholas in front of castle Vrbovec.
