Blazon

The blazon of municipality Nazarje is divided into two sections. The upper section represents the castle Vrbovec, the historical mark of Nazarje and also the headquarters of municipality Nazarje.

The three pines in the lower section of blazon represent three territorial units - Nazarje, Šmartno ob Dreti and Kokarje and economy of the Upper Savinja valley. The development of places in the Upper Savinja valley and especially in municipality Nazarje is in one way or another connected to the woods.

Flag

The flag of municipality Nazarje consists of green with white middle part. On the white part there are 3 green pine trees, which represent the municipality of three villages: Nazarje, Šmartno ob Dreti and Kokarje.
